Is the convention going to be centered around educating newbies (most of this site) or moderately experienced investors?

I think actually even less than than, maybe $100.00 per night. There is also airfare or driving time to get to the destination. Big bucks are what we are trying to make, not spend. Over a several hundred dollars plus travel, meals and time gets to be about $1000. Lots of money.

As I have just finished writing checks for a good deal of propt. taxes, I'm more interested in some "write-on"...like more good info, and deals like the one I'm closing tomorrow. My family enjoys real vacations, and I gave up conventions when I departed the corporate racket a few yrs. back...bring on more cash flow ideas...Happy holidays.

Do it in Vegas. Cost/accomodations are pretty reasonable and it is a fun place. Airfare isn't too bad either.
I just went to a conference there about three months ago, stayed for $69/night at the Luxor so it wasn't too bad.
The conference was next door at Mandalay Bay. I didn't go through the conference to get the rate though. Their room rates were like $115/night.

I think it would be a good idea to have a package at the convetion hotel AND a package at a budget hotel that is within walking distance.
