I have been a real estate title abstractor for 25 years and I have to say that my business has never been better. The reason is that even a foreclosure requires a title search by the bank. So unfortunately, my fees have been reduced over the years but I am still getting $50.00 per limited title search and I am doing over 20 per day. The best thing is I do not even leave the house. All of it is done on computer via the internet. I know that this business is closely guarded by us title abstractors and its nothing personal. They just do not want to split the pie anymore that they have to.

Money talks. If you want your property management company to perform exceptionally, it may be wise to consider one of the following incentives to incorporate into your property management company (PMC) contract.
1. Percentage of Net Operating Income
What I like about this option is that it takes into account both the income the PMC collects as well as the expenses. It doesn’t really matter how much money you collect on a property if all of it is being spent on outrageous expenses.
