The propety I'm going to buy needs all new kitchen appliances. Where is the best place to look for low prices?? I need a new fridge, oven, microwave, and a dishwasher. And a washer and dryer.

I found a stainless steel set (fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher) for 1,500. Is that the best I can do?

Thanks,
Mac

Is this for re-sale or rental? If rental, you may be able to save by buying used appliances. I also wouldn't waste the money on stainless if it's a rental (unless it's high end, in which case you'd need to spend more then 1,500).

If this is for resale, I think you're doing pretty well to get four stainless appliances for $1,500 (less than $400 per appliance). Places to consider are the dents/dings Sears outlets and the big box stores.

The best deals I've found (other than scratch & dent) are at Lowe's.

offer cash and see if you can get a discount.

lowes and home depot 10% off if you put it on credit card is nice too.

I usually get a 10-15% discount from Lowes or Home Depot just by asking when I buy appliances from them.

I will always look on craigslist or the local equivalent for appliances first as this has saved me thousands and it doesn't have to be new (it just has to look like it!)
