I need to get in touch with CitiMortgage REO department in regards to a REO property.
It's not on the market yet, as it's been recently foreclosred on.
Anybody have any contact in the Foreclosure/ REO department at CitiMortgage.
Thanks,

Hi There, Most REO departments do not have a direct telephone number that you can call and speak with someone regarding a particular property, but here are a few ideas that ma be helpful.
1. Try calling customer service and ask to be transferred there if possible.
2. Once the property is processed to the REO Dept. they will usually hire a 3rd party listing agent to sell the property, try contacting them.
3. the link below is a search for Citi's properties, if you can find it, maybe you can get a contact.

all my attempts have failed.
"When the property is available, it will be listed w/ a local agent and in the MLS"
Buy I want to buy it now and save YOU all that greif.
"Sorry sir, that's our corporate policy."
Good luck, maybe you'll hit the right person.

CitiMortgage REO is located in St. Louis MO. I don't know which REO person handles your area. Try calling information for the number.
Good Luck

CitiMortgage Inc.

No idea if it will work for you; just passing it along...

Unless you are buying in major bulk quantities the REO department will not deal with you. They always put the property out for listing with an MLS broker in the area. Your best bet is to find out who is the heavy hitter in REO in your area and see if he is handling Citi.
I do some bulk transactions with an investment group and we still have trouble dealing directly with the REO departments. We usually end up using intermediaries.

Tarponkiller is right. They are one of the companies that will not deal with you outside of the broker. FInd some other citimortgage foreclosure and see who the broker was. They tend to use the same broker

You can try emailing ****Must participate a while before posting URL's***.pearcy@citi.com but I give no guarantee of what will come of it. Asking for very large bulk portfolios has led to nothing at all. Citi wants 70 to 80 on their reo's and it's like pulling teeth to get them to move on anything. It's no wonder they are becoming the butt end of the Financial Market. Nobody can try to sell 400B of assets and say they're a viable company at the same time.

Try calling either of these guys. No guarantee that these are current contacts, or REO specialists for your geographic area of interest. They may be able to give you a lead, however..

If the property is in pre-foreclosure, then the homeowner should have some correspondence from CitiMortgage giving direct contact information to someone in the Defaulted Mortgages Department. If all else fails, call the CitiMortgage customer service and ask to speak to someone in Defaulted Mortgages. You will need the loan number.
