Has anyone dealt w/ , worked for or heard of the company Ameraco before? The package that you purchase costs $495.00 and that is it. You then of course study it and find foreclosures or FSBO homes that are very very motivated to sell then you submit a form to their investor network of 7500 investors and within 72 hrs you get multiple offers. Once you decide the investor you want to work w/, if they purchase the home at asking price, you get paid 8-10% of that amount. I did check w/ the BBB and they are registered in Florida w/ good standing. Please let me know. thank you

Have you had any other responses to Ameraco? I am looking into the business as well, but have not been able to find out any info. except for what the company provides.

Thanks,

Hi, I've signed up with Ameraco back in April. In Louisiana there is such a demand for housing where I am that it was still pretty much a retail market there, but I went over the border to Texas, and found some deals there. I submitted a deal a few days after getting the package and much to my surprise an investor called me. It wasn't quite the commission I wanted (10%) but I settled for 8%. The sold value was 87500 and I netted a 7000 dollar check. Not bad for a weeks work. It took me about 20 calls before I found a property that qualified, I was about to give up when I uncovered this property no one had looked at yet. NOT a get rich scheme , it does work, but it is WORK. Now if you live in East Texas, please don't join because I don't want the competition. Jay

So Jay, I see this thread was resurrected from January and this is your first post. Have you received and cashed the check?

Some people are just so eager to share their success stories that they run searches for places to post them, i guess...

Yes,I got payed. I'm new to the Internet(1 month) and new to forums. From what I learned even people that post 1000's of messages can be highly inaccurate in their opinions on anything. Thats why I rely on fact. I made my decision to join based on their longevity (18 years) and I checked them out with BBB. I joined this site hoping to learn more ways to make money in Real Estate, and by sharing my story I was just bringing something useful to the table. As I make more money I will be able to invest myself. If you have any ideas. feel free to let me know. I am open-minded. Ameraco works for me. Will it work for you? Only you can answer that. You reap what you sow. Thanks for providing this wonderful site.

Good for you for having the chutzpah to post again. As you can see, we seldom see two posts on this subject.
Congratulations on your success and I hope you have more.
Will it work for me - Nope.

I am looking for information on Americo also. They called me yesterday... I'm not very good with sales people having been one myself, I am usually a prick to them if they don't know their stuff. The salesman had to stop a couple of times to put me on hold to find answers. I told him to call me back today so I could do some research. So far everything has came up clean, which is unusual for companies like this. I always find some dirt. Anyone have some for me? I was also surprised to find a valid BBB certificate. I've caught sites like this with fake ones before. Anyways, the guy told me $450 for the one time lifetime membership fee. I was going to negotiate this anyways, but I found it interesting that all of the forums have people posting different prices for the program. The range seems to be $400-$495. I'm gonna see if I can't get him below half of his asking price....whether I join or not. LOL I'll let u know how I made out and what my final decision was.

Jay,
I got the package and I submited three deal so far two of my house have been being shopped sinces 12-4-08. here is the problem when you call the support line to find out what is going on they say we have no clue its not up to us it up to the investor that all they are is a third party. when i was read the information the online coaching it say up to two to three months why do something like that. when someone says three months later. its sounds like a scam if you can give me some pointer on what to do that would help out a million.
thank you

How long did it take you to hear from the investor when they was shopping your deal. Mine has been shopped sinces 12-4-08 and today is 12-18-08. I dont know why they have it set up the way they do. all you get is voicemail it smells fishy to me. I didnt know this until i bought the program you cant get a hold of them. When you do call they keep saying you got to wait a month or more to hear anything by than the guy backs out i've already two people back out from this. answer that one. another thing when you are looking at the houses do you say its for you or for an investor that is something i ask ameraco and they said you cant say anything about ameraco let me know right away.
Regards
