Hello,

Sometime ago, there was an REO contact list posted on this webite. Now it is outdated. Does anyone have any recent contact information for asset dispostion decision makers at banks?

I know a couple of REO properties that are not listed by other Brokers yet and I would like to make an offer directly to the following banks.

Wells Fargo (they have an email, fax and message line, but I'd love to get through to a breathing human)
Citimortgage
& OCWEN

Thank you!!!

I posted a name, phone number and email address for Ocwen, but I see my post was deleted. Why? I was just trying to help with what information I had. I don't understand. EB

Wow, I don't understand either! If you could please send me the information privately, I'd appreciate it. Perhaps one of the moderators could explain why such information can't be posted publicly?

Just curious, what do you do with the REO contact information? Has anyone ever bought an REO directly from a bank or lender? Was it a larger bank or a smaller bank?

Brenda

I've bought 5 homes directly from the banks. Smaller banks are easier to work with and I've been able to make offers directly to them -- since I have my broker's license they feel comfortable with that. Larger banks generally have a system in place and want to list their properties for top dollar through an agent.

Best of luck

I tried to PM you but it won't send the message, I am not sure why.

Are you just calling the lenders to see what they have in your area? Or do you locate the homes first? If so, how are you locating them?

I live in Chicago and would appreciate any help.

Thank you,

Don S.

You can PM me if you wish.

yeah, i also tried to post some helpful information a few weeks ago about finding a bunch of contact lists, and the moderators also deleted my post. i thought forums were about someone wanting more info and another person helping them find it. ridiculous.

This is a site that has a list of the lenders. Some of the links are defunct, but you can still find the REO info if you are resourceful. Sorry - I can't teach you how to be resourceful.
