I am a newbie and would like any information or suggestions in regards to tax deed sales in Florida? Is it recommended to perform a title search on a property of interest before attending the auction?

As a high bidder, you receive the deed to the property....How long is it before you can sell the property?

I would appreciate any help from those who are familiar with this process.
Thank you in advance.

In FL the redemption period applies only to tax lien sales. Once the tax deed sale is reached, if you acquire the property there is no more redemption period, you can sell immediately. It is always suggested to research the property before buying.
