Does anyone know how to do a Hud-1/Settlement Statement? What information do I need to include for the bank?

Bank needs to know what they will NET. Include anything that they will have to pay, the rest you will.

Are you working with a lender for your funding? They should be able to provide you with HUD 1 statement.

You might also get a blank HUD-1 from a title company. This will give you the information you need.

There is also a website called EasyHUD. You pay $20/mth and the website does them for you. You just plug in all the numbers and it emails you a filled out HUD-1 statement. There is also other info on the site like a short sale message board and links, etc.

i agree with rachelle, www.easyhud.com gets a hud-1 out quick..the lender basically only wants to know what they will net, so alot of whats on the estimated hud-1 is not relavent to the lender but the bottom line..alot of good info is also available from the site as well..good luck..

Also, if you are doing a cash deal and are using a title company for the closing, you can have them work directly with the bank to provide a net sheet. The title comapny will need a release from the seller, a contract and contact information for the person you're working with at the bank.
Good luck!
