I agree that it seems Newport has taken what they call a "Retainer Deposit" from people and have not provided any service. This type of information should be distributed to all investment sites to limit scamming others.

I used to be married to Daronne's son and was involved to some degree is his (Daronne's) business dealings (or lack of). I would be THRILLED to provide any info you need. Do youself a favor and do NOT get into any sort of business relationship with him.

Who is was married to Daronnes son? I am trying to find out if she is the one married to the parapalegic. her and her husband got scammed by some terrible people from NEWPORT BEACH and she threw him out Is that you? there is only one daughter in law out there. I want to know if she is okay and if she has seen his son since the accident. PLease respond I heard his sin hasn't much time and had severe brain damage from the accident.

Hi All,
Obviously I'm not alone in my problems with this guy and Newport.
Right now, this guy (or the guy that is controlling his stock) is doing significant damage to a company and has reaped at least a few million from the proceeds.
Any information on this guy would be very helpful.

I had a dealing with Daronne over 5 years ago, that was quite interesting. My associates and I played it very safe and never got in over our heads or lost any money, but watched as the web was weaved for a scheme on an enormous scale. Thankfully nobody really lost anything (not that I know of anyway). My associates and I always believe he was mob related. Wont go into details but it is a story I still tell to this day. I've always wondered if Darrone was an assumed name and who this individual really was. It appeared he owned high value property in La Jolla and Vegas.

I was an attorney who had dealings with Darrone Bonneau in mid- to late 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. I agree whole-heartedly that he was trying to set up a scam of major proportions that clearly would have made front page news locally and regionally had it pulled off. Fortunately for all parties involved (I know that this sounds cruel but oh well), he got sick and died in late 2005.
I have been "out there" in the legal/real estate fields for many years and, with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, was kicking myself in the rear for months for not seeing through his scams. I'm personally glad that nothing got to the point of funding; otherwise, my name (which shall remain anonymous) would probably have made it to the newspapers as well. I would have been run out of town, and then some.
To the poster who thinks he was part of the mob/associated with the mafia, I highly doubt that this idget was part of any mob or associated with them. Highly doubt it.
I believe his name is legit - has a social attached to it. I subsequently verified his death with an online database (a restricted one requiring a subscription) after he had died, so I'm pretty sure that his "death" was real and not part of some contrived plot.
He supposedly had 3 sons and 1 of them died in a car accident soon after (I believe) in So. Cal. It was the one that was estranged from him and was into some sort of oddball religion (Scientology, Jehovah's Witnesses, something along that line).
