In one of the largest fraud cases ever investigated in Johnson County, a Leawood businessman is charged with bilking more than 100 victims of more than $2 million.

The moral of the story is to simply investigate before you invest. Sometime the appeal of fast money can consume us. Even when it comes to real estate investing courses or seminars if they lay a get rich overnight on the table or imply one to you simply hold onto your wallet and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction.
