Winterize those Properties

If you live in a warm area where pipes do not freeze like many of my buyer's and sellers you may not think about it when you buy a property in a cold area.

After our first real freeze in Kansas City, I am reminded that we all need to
winterize our vacant properties to protect our investment.  That means the
water needs to be turned off, the outside hoses disconnected, the hot water
heater drained, etc.
Figure you are going to pay a contractor about $50 to $100  house or you
can do it yourself for about $10 to $20 a house plus your time.  ~kimtucker

Members of MAREI can attend our General Meetings for FREE and guests pay $25 at the door or can pre-register online for $15.
