SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- Realty DataTrust Further Enhances Online Leasing by Providing a Birds-Eye View of Apartment Communities Realty DataTrust, the innovator and leading provider of online leasing solutions for the multifamily housing industry, today announced an enhancement to its online reservation system, VaultWare. VaultWare enables online apartment shoppers to view current availability and pricing on various websites with the click of a button. Now VaultWare offers even more information with aerial views of apartment community neighborhoods.

With VaultWare Neighborhood Aerial View, prospective residents can view an aerial photograph that identifies the apartment community as well as nearby points of interest such as schools, parks and grocery stores. Apartment shoppers can even determine where the building resides that houses the apartment unit they are interested in to see its location on the property and its proximity to other areas of interest, such as the pool, leasing office, etc.

Online apartment shoppers can set the view level of the VaultWare Neighborhood Aerial View from 1/8- to 2-miles to see where the community is located in relation to major roadways, landmarks and other places that may be important to their lifestyle. The aerial view pages also include local and demographic information about the area. This allows viewers to learn even more about the neighborhood, especially those who are not familiar with the area. Examples of this ancillary information include the average number of sunny days and rainfall amounts, average household income and percentage of population by age groups.

"Property owners and managers find online advertising to be powerful since they can reach the majority of apartment shoppers and can showcase their property with tools like virtual tours and photographs as well as floor plan information. And with VaultWare, they give their prospects the opportunity to check availability and reserve the apartment of their choice online," said Mike Mueller, CEO of Realty DataTrust. "Now, we're bringing the shoppers' experience one step closer to actually being at the property. VaultWare Neighborhood Aerial View conveniently provides aerial photography and surrounding area information at the critical time of interest in the property and helps prospects with the selection decision for their new apartment home."

The Neighborhood Aerial View feature is available as an enhancement to VaultWare for an annual fee equal to less than $8 dollars per month plus a $25 one-time set up charge. The VaultWare Neighborhood Aerial View is accessible from the VaultWare-powered apartment availability web pages which can appear on the major Internet Listing Services and the property's own company website as well.

"We are excited to be using VaultWare Neighborhood Aerial View for all of our communities," said Prima Walker, director of marketing for Mark-Taylor Residential. "We know from our experience using VaultWare that the more information we can provide to our online prospects, the better our chances of capturing a qualified lead. Now, VaultWare Neighborhood Aerial View gives potential residents an even better understanding of our community."

To see an example of the VaultWare Neighborhood Aerial View service as currently being used by Mark-Taylor Residential, visit http://www.mark-taylor.com/arrowhead/rates.asp and click on the check availability link. Next, click on a building number to open the aerial view window.

"Realty DataTrust is again showing true innovation," said Doug Miller, president of SatisFacts Research. "Research has been showing a growing trend toward acceptance of online leasing, and it's the constant improvements to the user experience such as now providing aerial views of apartment neighborhoods that will continue to drive this trend upward."
