? Looking For A HUD-1 Spreadsheet In Excel ...

Hi Fellow Investors, tax specialists, organizers, computer gurus....

Does anybody have an excel spreadsheet for a HUD-1 so that I can have data at my fingertips? I am thinking of a breakdown sheet running lengthwise with each property next to it for comparison reasons and simplicity of fingertip use rather than sifting thru HUD-1s.

Why not just create your own? You know what you want and, from your description, you are not using any standard template anyway.

I don't think it would take you 30 minutes to do one that matches the HUD-1 if you're familiar with Excel - 1 hour max if you want to customize the row heights, shading etc.

I did a quick Google of 'free HUD-1 form' but can't find any "free" form software or templates. The closest I could find to an Excel type form is HUD-1 Generator (http://www.mikeshack.com/hud1.htm) It says "You will need excel 2002 or newer for this file to work."

For $29 it may be a reasonable investment. If you buy it, please post or PM with your review. I (and others I'm sure) could probably use such a product in the future...

Thanks everybody; I really apprecaite your help, ideas, and feedback.

I took a copy of the pdf file from the hud site and am working to convert it to excel and format to what I am looking for (side by side for properties.) to compare and have info at my fingertips for future.
