Eviction Process Of Tax Deed Properties

Does anyone have any experience with having to evict the current and soon-to-be former tenant/owner of a tax deeded property? It seems on the surface that it's just a simple unlawful detainer, but because these are people that have deep emotionally attachment to these properties, I'm wondering if there's more than meets the eye.

Thanks.

Hi
If you haven’t already given it to your lawyer he/she can take care of it. Some sell the lien before they will foreclose. Some don’t care. If you don’t do it someone else will.

Just pay them, and tell them you need to place to be reasonably clean when they leave (you can always hope...), but don't give them more than teaser pizza money til after they're out. You have the law on your side to evict, but the time and possible damage to the property--they could trash it badly, and you'd have little recourse--would cost way more. Emotional attachments--esp. for someone who's broke and can't afford to keep a place--are usually cheaper to buy than an lawyer.

I guess I was jumping the gun a bit.

I went to the LA auction and didn't get a thing. The competition was really fierce. There were mostly vacant lots, and the ones with improvements were really expensive.

4700 sf auto body in Santa Monica for $1.175MM, and a 2/2 condo, 1300 sf for $525K. And you have to pay cash for these properties.
