How do you go about getting national commercial tenants to build on your land and start paying you rent. The land is 1 acre in size and it's already zoned commercial. What's the process?
What use is it approved for? Food? A ground lease to a fast food restaurant might be the angle to work.
When you say the land is an acre - is it really an acre? If it's any smaller, you may have a hard time getting a food chain to bite.
If you don't have the relationships with the tenants or you don't know who the tenant rep is for your targeted retailer, one idea is to go on the company's website where you will often find a "Franchise" or "Real Estate" section that will typically outline their site criteria and the contact person.
