Hi folks, I'm new to real estate investing. Today I went to the court house and found some promissing properties, just judging by location. I still have a lot home work to do before I attend the September auction.
In case I get one of the properties can you help me with some off these questions:
1) I understand redemption period on homestead property is 2 years. For what I learned is that after the period expires and nobody redeems you will need to initiate either a foreclosure or a quiet to title to get marketable title. Which is more effective and least expensive?
2)Is the foreclosure action something that youu can pay a lawyer or do I need to go to court?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
