Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me understand what is carried over with the acquisition of a tax deed.
I've been doing a lot of research with regards to tax deeds and I know in Canada that only crown liens will carry over, not mortgages.
I did a LOT (about six months) of research on purchasing on Alabama and discovered that the policy there is that mortgages carry over.
Would anyone have a list or know of tax deed states that don't carry over mortgages?
