Can you assist me with the when and where the auctions will take place? Where do I get this information? All the information I am getting online are asking me to pay and when I do pay, it's only informationa about how to do it not the WHENS AND WHERES. Please provide me with these information.

Have you tried going to the county websites and seeing if they have any information?

Go onto Google and try tax "tax deed sale" texas and see what it comes up with.

Try even going to www.naco.org, look up the county/counties that you're interested in through the "Find a county" search, go to their website, if they have one and search for tax deed sales.

Regards,

Christian

The tax auctions for the areas you mentioned take place on the 1st Tuesday of the month at the respective county court houses.

Every county in Texas, by statute, has their sheriffs sale the first Tuesday of the month, regardless if it is the 4th of July, or any other holiday. Smaller counties will only have a sale every other month or every quarter because of lack of properties or resources.

What is really wild is that the mortgage foreclosure sale is ALSO the first Tuesday of the month at the courthouse. This makes for a really interesting day at the courthouse. I know in San Antonio, Bexar (pronounced like Bear) county it is a madhouse with so much going on at once. Crazy!!

Here are the county website addresses for the major DFW area counties:

Dallas County (Dallas)--http://www.dallascounty.org
Tarrant County (Fort Worth)--http://www.tarrantcounty.com
Collin County (Plano, north of Dallas)--http://www.co.collin.tx.us
Rockwall County (NE of Dallas, borders popular lake and is fast growing)--http://www.rockwallcountytexas.com
Denton County (due north of DFW Airport)--http://www.co.denton.tx.us

Since they're all held on the same day, if you have to pick one I would pick Denton County. Because that's where I live and anyone who will help our tax base will be greatly appreciated.
